Seventh Scientific Symposium with international participation
"Public Health in the Social and Educational Space—Challenges in Overcoming the Consequences of War and Prospects for Development"
Dear colleagues!
On September 25-26, 2025, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, together with the Akkon University for Human Sciences, Berlin, and the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, will hold the Seventh Scientific Symposium with International Participation "Public Health in the Social and Educational Space—Challenges in Overcoming the Consequences of War and Development Prospects" at TNMU.
Symposium has filed for registration
with the Testing Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine
to provide continuing professional development points
Given the war in Ukraine and the extension of martial law in the fall of 2025, the Symposium is planned to be held online.
MAIN SCIENTIFIC SCOPES OF THE SYMPOSIUM
1. Public health in Ukraine in the context of overcoming the consequences of war—current challenges and prospects for development.
2. Scientific basis for the development of strategic decisions in the field of public health.
3. Educational activities in the field of public health and training of public health professionals.
4. Management in the health care system and public health.
5. The concept of a healthy lifestyle and health promotion.
6. Public health at the global, national and regional levels.
7. Health economics and the principles of sustainable development of society: why it is profitable to invest in human and national health.
8. Patient safety, diagnostic errors at different levels of medical care.
9. Infectious and non-communicable diseases and their impact on public health.
10. Interdisciplinary and intersectoral cooperation in the field of public health.
11. Problems of public health staffing.
12. Legal and ethical principles of public health.

WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING MODES OF PARTICIPATION IN THE SYMPOSIUM
1. Oral presentation and publication of an article/abstract
2. Poster presentation and publication of an article/abstract
3. Publication of an article/thesis
REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ORAL REPORT
Duration of the oral communication should not exceed 10 minutes.
The report should be accompanied by multimedia.
Speech in the discussion—up to 5 minutes.

Ukrainian, English, German.

To participate in the Symposium, please apply using the above form and send an article/abstract for publication in the Symposium proceedings by September 10, 2025.
Participants must register and take the test on the day of the event, September 26, 2025, from 18:00-23:30.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DESIGN OF PRINTED PAPERS (ARTICLE/THESIS)
· Papers submitted for participation in the Symposium should not have been previously published or submitted for publication in other publications
· All abbreviations (except for units of measurement) may be used only after the full term is mentioned
· The volume of materials for publication: article—up to 12 pages, abstracts—up to 3 pages.
· The text is typed in MS Word, in A4 format with the following margins: top and bottom—2 cm , left—2,5 cm , right—1 cm
· Formatting: Times New Roman font, font size 14, normal, line spacing—one interval
The structure of the printed work is as follows:
o article: UDC, title of the article in capital letters, surname and initials of the authors, full name of the institution, article text (introduction, purpose, materials and methods, research results and discussion, conclusions, prospects for further research), list of references of scientific sources in the order of their insertion into the text in the style of DSTU 2015, summary in Ukrainian and English of 1800-2500 characters (purpose, materials and methods, results, conclusions, keywords). Authors should also submit a list of references in accordance with the requirements of APA (American Psychological Association).
o abstract: title of the abstract (in capital letters), initials and surnames of the authors, full name of the institution, introduction, main body, conclusions.
At the end of the printed work, the author's certificate must be submitted in Ukrainian and English: skipping several intervals, indicate the surname, name, patronymic, position, academic degree or academic title of the author (co-authors), place of work, E-mail, ORCID; e-mail address for correspondence.
All papers that meet the requirements will be published in the Bulletin of Social Hygiene and Healthcare Organization of Ukraine.
The fee for publishing an article up to 12 pages is 900 UAH,
for abstracts—150 UAH for 1800 characters.
We will send you an invoice for payment for the article/abstracts after the article/abstract is accepted for publication.
